Introduction

This series of books about Sunny Zack was created to help young readers with other children that have special needs. For instance, children with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, etc. The goal of this project is to teach them to make friends with these special kids, which goes against our culture’s tendency to cast them aside or even avoid them.

 Make friends with someone with special needs, and your life will change forever! It’s no wonder we call them “sunny kids” in Ukraine. We can learn a lot from them!
